Bangkok 20/11/2008

Beautiful Khao San

sunny 30 °C

Trip Date: 20/11/2008 - 23/11/2008
Travellers: Jason, Nizam, Venecia
Location: Bangkok, Khao San

Fabulous shopping at Prattunam Market and Platinum Mall. Fabulous clubbing and partying at Khao San Road, drinking and chilling away with hip music always on the roll. Bucket's of cocktails in REAL buckets. Fantastic roadside meals, Phad Thai, Mango salad, Wun Sen, fried chicken skin, gtilled cuttlefish, 'satay', and raw magoes. Fried grasshoppers and fried maggots are things i was reluctant to try but tasted fairly nice when i finally popped them into my mouth. the cheapest hotel i ever stayed in, Star Dome Inn at Khao San, it's only 550 baht per night!!! and shared among two, we each only paid 225baht per night, adds up to less than 50sing dollars for the 3nights of stay. Massage was fantastic and the lady was nice. i did my first ever shortest hair cut at Khao San as well. Trying and daring myself to do it with someone i cannot communicate with. the results was surprisingly good! :)
lovely trip.
